The goal of this project was to rebrand Sunscape Resorts, a luxury resort chain known for its breathtaking locations and exceptional hospitality. The objective was to create a fresh brand identity that reflects Sunscape Resorts' commitment to providing unforgettable experiences for guests. During the design process, I experimented with various versions of the logo. I aimed to capture a beach vibe while maintaining an elegant look. I ultimately chose to incorporate two wavy lines to symbolize the ocean waves and a setting sun, as there's nothing quite like watching a beach sunset at a luxury resort. I had the awesome opportunity to work on a project to revamp Sunscape Resorts, a fantastic luxury resort chain celebrated for its incredible locations and top-notch hospitality. The main aim was to give Sunscape Resorts a fresh brand identity that truly reflects its dedication to creating unforgettable guest experiences. While working on the design, I had a blast trying different logo versions. I really wanted to capture that beachy vibe while keeping it super classy. Ultimately, I settled on using two wavy lines to represent the ocean waves and a setting sun because, let's be honest, who doesn't love a stunning beach sunset at a luxury resort?
After designing the logo, I began selecting colors for the brand. I went with a deep navy as the primary background color, along with some neutral browns and light blues. I gave each color a name that fits the vibe of the brand. The navy provides the brand with a luxurious feel, and I love how the deep ocean blue contrasts with the sandy shores colors in the logo. After choosing the colors, I used the fonts from the logo to put together a brand guideline. I picked Pearls as the heading font since it was used for the word "resorts" in the logo. I went with Open Sans for the subheadings because it complements the Pearls font and keeps that luxury feel while still being easy to read. Lastly, I had some fun creating a unique brand pattern using the center of the logo mark to make a repeating pattern.
